I reworked the first chapter, and now here is the second.

If you are reading this going WTF, you can go back and read the Snapshots story. You can also just hang in there and find out what is going on with Tony, who is also very confused.


Tony is a detective trying to prove himself at NCIS.  Gibbs is a bastard. 
And the smirking guy in the coffeeshop?  Well, he's something Tony never
expected.

Family Snapshots

A brutal crime brings the NCIS team of Mike Franks and Jethro Gibbs to a seedy hotel in search of a suspect. Instead Jethro finds two boys who threaten to tear down all the emotional walls he’s built to try and protect himself from the pain of losing his beautiful wife and little girl. And two boys find a man who knows obsession and pain and the depth of a family’s love.

Fandom: pre-NCIS, pre-SPN. People in the meme seemed to call this wee!chester fic, so that's what I'll call it (even though I didn't know that's what I was writing)

Warnings: none, other than snarky Dean and a more damaged Jethro fresh off losing his wife and child.

I am still buried, but this came out fast and dirty (and with tons of grammar I don’t have time to fix, but I love it so much I want to share anyway.)

So, I am liking Season 6 so far.  My favorite... DEATH!  I am so a Dean/Death shipper at this moment in time.  I like where we're going with Sam, and I have a long discussion about where I hope they are going with this "Mother of All" concept I just ran across.  You can see that near the bottom of the post.

Well, I've got about two more days of work on a non-fiction writing contract I signed. Maybe three. Anyway, while I did the formatting and shit work (of which there is considerable), I watched some Supernatural. And now that school is out, I've been trying to watch one in the evening. I'm finding myself more and more annoyed by my inability to watch the Supernatural reruns on TV because they're still ahead of me, so I'm trying to pick up the pace a bit. So anyway, here's a bunch of reflections on season three.

Time is at such a premium right now, but I used housecleaning as an excuse to watch two more episodes. It slowed me down to keep going back to the keyboard to write comments, but my laundry is done and my bathroom smells like... I think it's supposed to be pine, but let's be honest... it smells like a chemical factory.
