lit_galAnd this is me avoiding work.... and the main reason that it's good I don't work at home full time. More TV watching.
Long-Distance Call
Wow, Dad gets around a lot for a dead guy, not that I believe this is their father. Nope, I don’t buy that for a second, but I do like the fact that Dean is finally willing to fight this. That’s a bad guy to fear… one with access to all our data. And Dean’s “I’m scared” had so much power because he has been so stoic. So many characters hit one note over and over “angst-angst-angst-angst” until it becomes false. Dean has hit so many different emotional notes that it just feels right. And powerful. And so fucking perfect.
Time is on My Side
Hey idiot… all modern trunks have an emergency release in the trunk. Stop panicking and start thinking. Ewwww. His guts all fell out. Okay, this show so totally crosses lines, and sometimes that’s not in a good way. Ew, ew, ew. Oh man, someone seriously felt the need to go overboard with the ew factor. Sam is freaking me out a little. If he tries to follow this doctor’s formula in order to save his brother, he’s going to have to kill humans. Dude. Sam. You’re kinda creeping me out. And after Bella’s big secret, I still don’t like her. So instead of asking for help, she hurts others and tries to kill the boys. Compared to how Dean is facing the same end, she looks pretty damn weak.
No Rest For the Wicked
Dean is really losing it. Oh my. Yeah, Ruby is a manipulative bitch, but I still like her. She stands up for what she wants and she really has spent an entire year backing Sam into the right corner, and still the boys beat her. “Sammy, you’re my weak spot, and I’m yours.” Oh, Dean, truer words were never spoken. I love Bobby. “Do I look like a ditchable prom date to you?” And I love the fact that he sees them as family. He makes me smile. Dean’s singing… not so much. The whole Lilith as a child thing does feel a lot like that Twilight Zone episode. However, this is a really powerful way to show just *how* evil Lilith is, even compared to other demons. However, seeing Dean give up, that is enough to break someone’s heart… especially if the someone is Sam.
OH SHIT. Dean’s really dead. I know that Sam was dead there for a while, but does this mean Dean is in hell? That can’t be good. Oh geez. The first look into hell… Oh man. That is not good. Aw geez. This is the end of the disc. Y’all had to wait all summer to get the next episode???? Holy shit. I feel more sorry for you than for Sam. Truly.

That is the core of the man only A risk to Sammy can sway him from the righteous path. Yeah I know he is a hound dog but two consenting adults and all that. It also shows at Sam's core there is pride, anger and enough selfishness, that he could be led astray with the right hook.
No Rest for the Wicked. Jensen has a good voice and. Jared is not that bad, the direction was that Sam and Dean should be bad singers. That was a great summer. Unlike Season ome and two we knew the show would be back all the way back in February, so the who,e summer was spent with fans trying to bring Dean home. The art, stories and vids that Summer rocked. Got to admit no one thought Kripke would kill Dean
