STOP: Two chapters in two days. Yes, that's right, I had a mini-spurt. It happens when I FINISH A WIP!!! Yep, that's right, this one is done. You have the sex, the hints of the future, the happily ever after, the reappearance of Naomi, and lots of opportunities to wonder about the Sentinels who woke up when four headstrong people (two Sentinels and two Guides) stirred the universe.

Jim has his plan to battle the military, but Blair has earned his spot as the Shaman.  So, what does he bring to the fight?  Funny enough, Blair doesn't know.


Okay, part of me says that this is actually pretty near the end of the story.  A chapter of two of epilogue, and this part of the conflict--this particular drama that started with Blair having a very creepy shamanic dream is over.  Is there anything you feel is hanging too much to let lie until if or when I feel like a sequel?

Jim made a decision to "out" himself as a Sentinel rather than allow two men to suffer. However, now that they're heading back to the states, the guys have to make some hard decisions about what they want their future to look like, because they can't go back to their old lives. Even worse, neither of them know the true meaning of the mystical battle Jim and Alex fought. Jim might have won the throne and Blair might have earned his title of shaman, but the universe is not done with them.

Blair always worried about the American government finding out about Jim. So, when he told the FBI about Alex's skills during the events of "Ad Libitum," he carefully hid any evidence that might implicate Jim as a Sentinel. However, now he's injured, stuck in a Mexican hospital, and the Mexican government is showing more than a little interest in Sentinels. The irony isn't lost on him.
