GalaAssimI need a few proofreaders.

Assimilation, Love, and Other Human Oddities is coming out on the 23rd, and as part of the publicity, I"m going to be releasing three "shorts&ot; onqu blogs in order to get people excited.

Slow Attractions is from Ondry's point of view and it covers the events of chapter 1 in Claimings.

Headstrong is from the point of view of one of the Grandmothers who is Ondry's biological grandmother and it covers the events at the temple when Ondry was awarded custody of Liam.

Escape Hatch shows Liam on the front lines of the civil war. This is when he decides to find a way out of his relationship with Kaplan before this would-be Dom gets rid of him. It's also when he decides that he has to hide his submissiveness.

I also have two shorts that have come out other places, but I wouldn't mind cleaning them up a little.

First Sight is from Ondry's point of view, and it shows his thoughts when he first sees this new human.

A Good Trade is a historical piece telling the meaning behind the Ginal coin and showing the difficulty of parenting in a society as individualistic as the Rownt.

They all come in a file that has lists of Rownt townspeople, sayings, and general "stuff" I just need to keep track of. So, can anyone give me a three or four day turnaround on some editing??

Leave emails if you can.

I don't always catch a lot when I beta, but I'd still be willing if you want.

Sorry I am in the UK just now so this time I won't be able to help.

Hope it all goes well.

*waves arm in the air while jumping up and down excitedly* Ooh, ooh, I can, let me! - especially the first two. :-) T'would be my pleasure to assist, in a completely altruistic manner that is in no way motivated by my happiness at getting more 'Claimings-'verse' sooner rather than later whatsoever. *whistles innocently* :-P

I leave my e-mail here all the time, but here it is again - just send the file, and I'll get to reading...er proofing it. :-)

Oh, and did you ever choose to waste a couple minutes on that quiz I linked to in a prior e-mail? :-D

I have absolutely sent it. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to do much of anything lately. I'm editing the first Desert World for re-release as the first of a trilogy, Two Steps Back has gone into edits at Loose Id, I'm doing line edits on the new Claimings book, and I'm trying to finish another book... all while doing my day job. I'm twitching just a little.

I love your stuff, as long as you don't mind a first timer helping out, you have a second pair of eyes ready and willing.

My brain is still a little foggy following hospital stay but if you need eyes and have backup readers I am happy to help. You have my email, if not just shoot me a message.

I shot you a message. And I need to thank you for that really nice review you left. I appreciated that, and I'm glad that your pile of books helped you through that hospital stay

another first timer

I'd also be very happy to have a go although it's not something I've done before either. Well, I do find myself picking up errors as I read ebooks, and grumbling to myself at the lack of proofreading, if that counts?!

And I'm a big fan of your books, particularly Claimings, Tails and Other Alien Artifacts, which I've re-read quite a few times. :) gld199@yahoo.com

I'm always happy to have a grumbler looking it over. If you can catch the stuff before it's officially out, that's far better than putting out stuff and then cringing. I've sent the file.

I've sent you the edits, you may have to check your junk folder for the email as many us servers don't like the .de address.

Always up to do a bit of proofreading. Although it looks like I may be too late to jump on the bandwagon.
