Okay, I'm starting to get nervous now. I usually have some comments by now, but Lines in the Sand has nothing over at Dreamspinner or Amazon, and only five people have rated it at Goodreads. *frets* This is why I'm painfully shy in real life... I have issues. And I fret. And I worry way too much. And I wouldn't want to be around me when I'm in this mood.

What Jane said. I know how you feel. I've had three books out in the spring/early summer and one recently, and not too much, just a little sprinkle. It just seems to take time.

In the meantime, I'm still waiting to hear if a little m/f I subbed is accepted.

I'll be buying this one. I think it's a great premise, very you somehow.

It does seem to come and go. Where have you put your m/f in? I know I've been seriously disappointed with the returns at Ellora's Cave--my Dreamspinner work does much better, and I don't know if m/m is simply selling better or if Ellora's Cave is not a good match for my style of writing. *shrug*

I subbed something to the subspace anthology for TEB. They have an upcoming switch antho that also interests me. It's a short m/f story about an older woman and younger man. The woman comes into subspace unexpectedly, and this causes problems for a budding relationship. I kind of liked it since it is different. Wish me luck.

I've done a m/f with LI and have a menage that will be out in Sept but I think I'd like to try doing more het and menage with TEB. I don't know how well it'll do but I really like working there at the moment.

That's good. I really think it's more important to be happy with a publisher than to be at a big one or to have big checks. If you aren't happy, the muse will dry up
