Animated Icons

Okay, this animation thing is fun. I started with the animation everyone sees with the kitty lick, but I didn't like red eyes so I modified it.  I have no idea who to credit for the source pic or I would.




Then I moved to my own animation with froggie.

Now for the annoying one.  You can't use the first snail because it's too big, so I made it smaller two different ways... reducing color and reducing animation frames.

That's the main reason I can never be bothered to learn how to do animated icons. I just don't have the patience for it. =>}

It's not hard. You just have to create 30 or 40 frames moving the animation elements a bit each time. Yeah, not fun. But I like the final results, and when I'm stressed, the detail work truly keeps my mind (and hands) busy. You know what they say about idle hands.

I grabbed the second snail, he's just great!

I wouldn't worry about the cat. I've seen it everywhere and on a few free avatar sites too. So there's no telling where it came from originally.

I'm quite proud of that snail. He was hard. And I'm glad that the cat is so common because I couldn't find an artist/attribution for it.

I saw the kitty all over, so don't worry too much about it. At some point, it was supposed to be a fox (in the Naruto fandom, no less).
