Excellent. I've been a bit impatient with Charlie, who never seemed to deviate from his modus operandi long enough to have any thoughts other than "scary Sentinel, very scary" and "where's the weed?" But this new aspect you've introduced to his character makes him as interesting as when he first appeared and broke Jim out of the hospital.
Oh, and good use of his character to logically inform Jim of what's going on at Rainier. But you never told us... what the hell is up with Blair's overreaction of the USSP guides? *wails* Did I forget that something happened or has it not yet happened or... ahh!
