I've really been having a bad week with the coughing and sneezing and cranky parents (so much that I just gave up going to work for a few days). Then I come back on-line, and I realize why I miss it when I don't log on.

amarysso and sexymermaid gave me nods for writer's appreciation week, thank you darlings!

At the spander_awards Beautiful Broken/Broken Revenge won The Captain Peroxide Award - Best First time, The Tied Up Again Award - Best Kink, The Strong and Mysterious Award - Best Long Fic, and it tied with amejisuto's Hold Me. Thrill Me. Kiss Me. Kill Me for the Nummy Treat Award - Best overall Spander Fiction.

And I have two stories up at the White Knight Awards: Trickster for bad-ass vamp and Learning Curve for crossover. I'm there along with tons of really, really, good stories. If you haven't read Song of Iowa (Yes, Xander/Riley, but GREAT Xander/Riley) or Lonely on the Mountain (yes, *gasp* GEN!), GO READ THEM. NOW. IMMEDIATELY!

And then there was the lots and lots of support on my whiny sick entry. So thank you guys so much for making me feel better. Maybe I'll go work on one of my WIPs now.  Either that, or I'll go take massive doses of cold medicine and sleep... one or the other.

The award names are hilarious! I don't know the spander awards community, I'll gave to take a look there.

AND go to sleep, take that medecine and start writing only when you feel good enough! No need for tiring yourself and then be sick for a lot longer because of it.

As much as I'd like to see another chapter of Guidelines right now, I vote for drugging yourself senseless. Otherwise who knows what you'll end up writing under those conditions. LOL

Congrats! Hope you are feeling a bit better. I saw you put out more of Trickster! *bounce* I'm behind...stupid busy RL. *grumble* But that just means I get more than one chapter at a time. *bg*
