It's really too bad they didn't pull the Samas in a fish tank thing with O'Neill. It would prove Gibbs isn't being controlled. Of course, Gibbs was probably worried O'Neill would take that as opportunity to take Samas out. I really like the contrast between Samas and the g'ouald.
And Tony having to explain to Gibbs just how much he understands what's going on and is prepared to cope with it was quite wonderful, and a bit scary.
