Apologies!

Okay, I'm really sorry guys, but my end of semester grading is taking MUCH longer than I expected. I am not going to be able to update this weekend, and realistically I'm not going to be able to update until next Thursday or Friday. Well, unless I give in to temptation and set fire to my desk

(Ooops, I've lost all your papers and now I can't grade, how sad.)

God I hate having ethics and not approving of things like arson.

Love people with integrity. Do your best for your charges and we'll see what your muse has in store later. We'll survive--somehow *g*

Well the papers are graded, and I'm just now back to LJ... sorry to ignore ya hon.

Don't fret, it just gives us all something to look really forward to. I'm away in London with work for most of the week so now I won't fret about not being able to read your updates -not good policy to be caught reading on the company's computers!

Hope your grading goes okay and isn't too onerous!

Well hopefully we're both back in the happy land of slash now.

Hey, I completely understand! I have 27 essays which I absolutely must hand back to students tomorrow (not to mention what else is lurking in the queue behind them, which will probably dog me through the "vacation"), but I also have a cold and so am childishly reading fic first. So you are saving me from myself, as well as shaming me into getting my work done now, rather than staying up late to finish it and making my cold even worse.

So--good for you for your work ethic! (And, for those of us who lack that, or self control: we have lots of lovely material by you to re-read . . .)

Hey, I approve of childish reading of fic, I just don't approve of the whole firing and unemployment thing, so, essays first (damn it!)

I think I love you, just for taking the time to let us know there'll be a delay. Communication with the adoring audience is of the veryvery good.

And I'm sure we'll find ... *something* to occupy our time. Myself, I'm thinking of making a list of all the things Spike can do to Lirowhatsis to show his, er, appreciation of Xander's training. ::looks shifty and slightly psycho::

Hey, I know how much I hate it when people or stories just disappear, but RL does come first. And I think Spike has a whole list of his own (although he'd probably appreciate a few suggestions)

Arson is such an ugly word. I prefer accidentally seting something on fire with no intent on putting it out.

LOL!!

I'm remember that line for finals time.

Well, if I lived closer I could 'accidentally' come to your school, and 'accidentally' start smoking cigars, and then 'accidentally' light a cigar with a match, and 'accidentally' drop that match on your desk....OPPPS

I also think I 'accidentally' need a thesaurus.

And then you could get accidentally arrested for smoking on campus (tobacco free schools in Arizona)

That's my nightmare. Or worse: a few of their papers don't turn up in my grading pile, and then I can't be sure whether I lost them, or they just didn't do the work. I hate end-of-semester grading.

Oh, I've been teaching long enough that when the papers aren't there I KNOW they weren't handed in.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. But I can't. Oh well.

Yeah, it'd make teaching so much easier, wouldn't it??

Not to worry, LG. Hey, you're human! Do what you gotta do, get back to the writing when you can. Thanks for letting us know!

Do not tempt me,(I love fire and explosions) so I'll wait patiently *snerk* until you can post. Oh, and don't kill your students, the school board won't approve.
