Of course John would do this, and I can even believe the others would let him to get their people safe, but there is no way Rodney, Ronon and Teyla won't turn the galaxy upside down for him afterwards.
Megotiations to buy him back could be really interesting.
And I still want to know who is attacking them. :)
And I'm realizing that I'm not telling you the most important thing, which is you have the characters down very nicely and you've set up an intriguing scenario, as usual. :)
