I miss writing fanfic, but I don't have the mental focus for a full-on story. So... it's meme time. You give me the summary of a story I never wrote, and I'll give you a snippet from that story. So, let's see what you can throw at me. I can write in Buffy, Sentinel, Firefly, SG1, NCIS, or SPN.

hmmm, hard to tell if there's too many here.

This is actually an idea from my bunny hutch, one I would like to explore but that isn't going to happen anytime soon if ever. Plus I'm interested to see what little bit you would get from it. (plus I already gave the other one of interest to me away to tejas--I hope she writes it).

Giles had a full life before going to Sunnydale and it wasn't all Ripper all the time. After the debacle of Sweet the music demon he returns home--to the dim libraries & familiar stacks of the Oxford libraries. One day while digging through the new acquisitions in the back room he encounters an old student, the only one he ever slept with. Daniel Jackson certainly no longer looks like a lost waif with long hair & large glasses. Indeed, Daniel had grown up & was researching some very interesting things.
