My latest book is out. This will be the last one for a while since I had that shoulder injury... the one I'm still recovering from. I suppose I should go back to the doctor for that follow-up, but I know I'm only about 80% okay, and he's going to start making noises about surgery. I like the state of denial ;)
Anyway, this is the sequel to Desert World. I really love these two together. Individually, the first book is only the first tentative steps toward a relationship, but together, the two books like me do what I really love doing--following a couple from the first steps all the way through to the inevitable conclusions. And I started with two such opposites.
Shan is a priest after having gone into the priesthood to avoid the messy emotional fallout from relationships. His own drunken father and aggressive brother were not good role models.
Temar is shy and reserved with a strength he doesn't know he possesses, and he doesn't make that discovery until life pushes him past his limits. Yeah, he gets whumped, but I always whump someone.
