I know this is the whole urban legend thing, but helpless girl shrieking in the car is not my thing. This is a little more cheesy horror than supernatural thriller. Okay, the whole rip in the wall definitely means the killer is in the house. Since it likes to kill prostitutes/loose women, I’m guessing the roommate is a goner. I don’t know why, but this one is not catching me. The preachy (literally) father talking to his daughter about sin and drinking is not really helping my love (or lack of love) for this episode.
Huh… the roommate moved, maybe she’s not dead or the target of the killer. It’d be nice. And there we go. The woman who has sex gets targeted by the serial killer. Not my favorite plot.
Angry, vengeful spirit. Meh. I do like the consistency of this episode with the airplane one. Spirits get power through people’s lack of control over emotions. I can appreciate that. Other than that, this goes down as my least favorite episode. My favorite part is the deleted scene where it turns out that the police ID Sam is using to try and run his father’s license plate was stolen… from a girl. Yep, Dean was having fun with his brother by getting him a girl cop’s ID. Francis. “Next time get me a gender-appropriate badge,” Sam demands. THAT is funny. And that is on the cutting room floor.
