I'm glad that you like the realism here. I know what most stories, this would be a very emotional point in the story, but with everything else that's going on, I think the guys need emotional and moral support more than anything else. The sorting out of the relationship is going to have to happen after the sorting out of their life.
Now, now... have some faith in the author. This story is not Beautiful Broken, and it will not descend into that type of angst. My goal here is to write a realistic love story with two guys who are still guy-like enough to scratch their own crotches at the breakfast table.
