Great chapter. I'm glad your continuing this story. I never watched Firefly, but you got me hooked on the characters with 'Thoughts coloured ugly'.
“You think you two could help me practice the sly stuff?” Jayne asked.
If this weren't Jayne, I would say this was a very clever act. Just what Mal needs to get a move on.
This part confused me a bit:
“But that means you’re with him. This idiot is always trying to leave me behind.”
“At least that means you’re with him. I would rather face death with him than put up with this idiot’s habit of tryin’ to put me somewhere safe before he goes off acting like a sha gua.”
Which one is Blair and which is Jayne? Or was that both Blair?
