I really do see demons in this universe as having instincts that are very animalistic, and Spike's instincts have been trained to expect a certain level of violence in sex. He doesn't see this as right or wrong because he doesn't have the soul to make that judgment. For him, it's just normal.
And I'm glad I wasn't the only one that went o.0 on the trust line. Dude, she trusted him with her sister. However, can can see where she wouldn't trust his judgment or his morals after this.
