Poor Xander, taking all the blame onto himself. Especially in the case of Willow he's not the one at fault. I think this was a better break up for him and Anya than what happened in canon by far.
You have very effectively isolated Xander, but he has responsibilities which will not allow him to go self destructive. I do wonder what his outlet will be.
