I think the fact that we, the humans amongst us anyway keep making the same mistakes is that we are so sure that WE are so much better, smarter, wiser. When in fact we are just so arrogant, short-sighted and plain pigheaded and doomed to mess it up everytime. If it wasn't for the fact that there are so many of us we would have been extinct years ago! Great story and it now has me pondering all sorts of questions about the boys and how they got to this point in tme and space. Bad author but good writing.
