Man, I wrote 8,000 words on Kin of the Heart today, and now I just have to wait for the Taming the Muse prompt so I can work it in. I don't wanna wait! *wails* Anyway, FYI, I will be posting one chapter of fanficcy a week since I'm not using my Nanowrimo for my Taming stuff. Of course, that means I didn't write on Nano at all today. I hope ya'll forgive me if my answering of comments and reading suffers some this month.

Warning... I haven't even done my read through, so it will be ugly. Seriously... freewrite, first thing out of my head ugly.

8,000 words! OMG, I'm never going to catch up! On the other hand, I'm really excited that there is so much more coming. I'm so sorry I haven't had a chance to read the last few chapters but I wanted to let you know I haven't lost interest. As soon as RL calms down a bit I will do a marathon session and get caught up.

No problem. This Nano is pushing me away from reading, myself.

Wow! 8.000 words! *admire*
Really it's great. I have to catch up by several stories and your Kin of Heart is one of them. Oh boy, I'll love to read it, when I'll get the time (latest when I've got a few days off next month, I hope I'll get a few days off *sigh*)

Just wanted to say how much I am enjoying KOTH. I saw that you had posted a new chapter and I had missed one or two, so I went back to the beginning and started again.

The dialogue is great fun, the sense of family support very warming and what it lacks in porn (and let's face it, there is plenty out there so you don't need it in here if it doesn't fit in with the tenor of the story), it makes up for in wit and character.

I just wish I was as quick-witted as Xander.

I'll cheerfully forgive you anything, if you're writing and posting. Especially Kin of the Heart! *g* Go forth and ignore in peace. *g*

Hmmmm....let's get out the scales, shall we?

Kin of the Heart vs. answering comments

Whoa! Watch those scales tip!

In My Opinion, I'd much rather read more fic than read replies to my comments. One of the main reasons I try to comment on wips is to make sure the author knows that we're out here patiently waiting for more. If answering comments slows down your writing, I say you most definitely won't hurt my feelings if you don't answer my comment. So screw the comments. Keep writing! Please?

And did you say 8000 words? :::gives you a shoulder rub::: I bet you need it. Can't wait to see more Kin!

Sentinel fanfic too?

If you are writing on other things than your NaNo project this month, please don't forget the Sentinel story. I really loved that.

I know... I have to get back into watching season four so I can get my anger going with Jim again. He's just so cute that it's hard to stay mad at him.

I was watching the episodes on Sci-Fi channel from Season 2. He didn't look that amazing to me until the episode where he took off his shirt. All those wonderful muscles. The fanfic authors ranting on his beauty now made sense. Just look below the neck. Ok, I'm being disgusting.
When I see Jim on TV, I keep thinking of your "Control Issues" series and I want to protect him from anything that would limit his choices.

I do like beating up on Jim just because he is so honorable and stoic and he hurts just so well. And you go ahead and watch him below the neck. I happen to think he's cute all over, but his chest/back are of special beauty.
