One of Xander's traits that I always loved, which was really developed when they hit the "construction worker/more confident/Xander-as-Heart" part of the series, was how clearly he saw things; how deep he could feel; and how he'd tell you your head was up your ass and still love you entirely. That scene where he told Buffy to either commit to Riley wholeheartedly or let him go, cleanly, and then went home and told Anya why he loved her is a great demonstration.

Here, Xander's still young and iffy on the maturity, but you can see he's getting there. :)

Interesting, how the changes you made with Whistler have Angel and co. be informed of the curse; keep him from having a seer; and still have Whistler be that vaguely non-helpful/claiming to be helping greasy sort of character. I don't think Angel needs a seer, actually. Not only does it damage another person's humanity, willing or not; but it's very deus ex machina as regard plot problems; and...well, most people make it through life without knowing what's coming. Look at all the Slayer prophecies-most of those aren't helpful and are better translated in hindsight. I'd think being a seer and/or *having* one dancing attendence on you might make for a little hubris, too. *shrugs*

I love the interaction between Angel and Xander, here. We can see the future coming (and we're not seers! *laughs*) but for now, we'll let them have their delusions of protective friendship and/or "brotherhood". *snorts*

Blair makes for a very good crossover character.
