I'm in catch up mode and goodness you've been busy. I'll probably be stalking you for the next couple of days!
Well that was a bumper edition. I like that Jim is now so attuned to Blair that he knows Blair is holding something back, but he hasn't yet worked out how to make his guide open up. And he should know better than to try to lie to him, it just isn't going to work. I do worry that Wilke will have seen Blair open the truck door and nearly blow the stakeout - it will be just more ammunition for the USSP.
And my love for Charlie continues. Good for him encouraging Jim to make his presence felt around Ranier and warning him about psycho Kelly. I know Blair's always been independant, but he has to remember he's got someone to lean on now. And Charlie and the cigarette burns, shiver. That's an interesting back story and one that Blair obviously knows about. Hopefully now Jim will cut him a bit more slack, even it he does continue to rag him.
Really lovely writing in this, now I'm going to skip happily to part 14.
