You know Jim isn't going to be happy, both because of Blair impetuousness and because of how this reflects on their functioning as a partnership. Jim's parnoia in this universe is not without merit. And this whole episode is going to be about power: who has it, who wants it, and how people handle it. Kelly wants power over Blair as do the guides, the commissioner, and Dr. Edwards. Blair wants Jim to have power over him, and Jim does, but he tries not to. The USSP is out for power over both of them, and Jim really only has Blair to stand between him and the USSP since anything he does will be taken as proof that he's out of control. And then a case thrown in the middle. Naomi is even going to make an appearance with her own hippy attempt at regaining her power base in her son's life. Yep, now you know why I *can't* write on this when I'm sick.
