Some weeks I can't get anything out, and other weeks I can't turn off the story spigot. Go figure.
Xander really is caught between his two sets of memories and his two personalities. We certainly saw the soldier affecting Xander in the series from time to time, but the vampire had 900 years of memories... memories that included being quite vicious and dominant... so I think they are affecting Xander far more than the soldier memories.
Anyway, I'm so happy your enjoying it and think Trickster is worth a second read.
