Well that must have freaked out your mother! No wonder she's queasy. And really, this is the worst non-flashbacky torture in the whole series, and it kinda squicked me even as I wrote it. Of course, it helps that Leshar SO deserved it. But Xander was right that to be the white knight, you have to give up the anger and do the right thing. He just proved to himself that he is still a good guy, even if he's pledged himself to a demon.
And I'm so glad this chapter 'clicked' with you. I've wanted to write this 'recovered' Xander for a long time now. He really is quite something.
