Angel or Spike would be very welcome right now because Xander isn't getting out of this by himself. Calling for help was a major accomplishment by itself and now he had to trust someone on the other end of that call to save him.
And I'm glad you liked the paperclip connection. I couldnt' completely forget that little moment.
