So what is north of Sunnyhell that has Angel/us pissed off and ready to maim then kill, 'cause I suspect it is the bond between them and Xander that is causing this at the moment. They will have to learn to control it somehow before it controls them completely.
Loved your cat analogies. I think you have nailed Angel and Spike exactly. Angel would make a great tiger and lion with a pride describes Spike to a tee. But, as Xander pointed out, Angel would like to be a tiger WITH a Pride (Okay so he said a family and respect but it looks the same from this side.)
Joyce is one of the best characters Joss created. I liked her a lot more than Buffy! Buffy started off a selfish, self-indulgent, whiny high school freshman and didn't change for 8 years. Just got more strident about things. For some reason, everyone else grew up, but she didn't. Even Angel and Spike developed personally! Must be something about being a Slayer (although Faith grew as well. Hmmm.)
