Having Xander finish himself off is quite revealing. At first he wasn't sure if he could do it, very much a bit of old Xander there! (but of course he could!) Spike supporting him as always. I enjoyed the comparison to Calsha's slave, him sitting still and Spike approving when Xander couldn't hold still despite his training, even egging Xander on, encouraging him...
