I think that if Spike really had a chance to think about the unfairness of Xander being in her good graces when Spike wasn't--yeah, that would turn ugly as hell. But first, he's going to go out and get absolutely plastered. He's going to be drunk off his ass. If Xander doesn't do something by the time Spike sobers up, yep, the badness could lie that way.
