To be able to see Spike's side of that episode makes so much difference. Souless, he can only go on what he knows and what he's learnt and Buffy spent a lot of time saying no but meaning yes. Weirdly, I feel sorry for Spike and angry with Buffy.
Am really hoping she doesn't hurt Xander - not physically, I mean with her reaction to him killing Warren. And I don't even want to think about Willow.
