the writing for this chapter was seriously brilliant! i loved ur interpretation of warren and of his particular brand of insanity. interesting that xander tried to reason with him man to geek first and get him to seek glory in a different way. i am really anxious to see where xander goes from here, and how it affects his family. i wonder if bonnie will smell the death and blood around her daddy. it sucks to be forced to compromise your morals to protect the ones you love. it was hard to see xander do something so terrible (yet maybe necessary). but reading it was a joy. the scene with gun firing was amazing - i was immersed in that effect of seeing it from the outside of the character's body.
