I'm trying to get this one out a little faster than the first "book," which took me forever!
Xander's drift is normal. In the show, it was a little odd that they made it look unhealthy because he SHOULD have his own life, and following after Buffy and Willow does not qualify for a life. And I think Riley took way too much of his direction from Maggie. Get her out of the way, and he's a little more teachable.
