now THAT makes more sense. geez, they never really thought about it, did they? i echo the other comments when i say i don't care if we know the ending (isn't that what reading fic is kind of about? getting the right ending?), this would be a great set-up for a longer story. :P plus, i love seeing Spike with kids. adorable!
