This is such a better version than canon! It never made sense for Xander to have summoned Sweet. Was like they wrote the whole episode and then in a rush realised they had no explanation for it! So they just put Xander as the culprit since Dawn messing up was getting a bit dull.
I see you've already said you might not continue, but I can help but hope you change your mind. This is a really cool premise!
