I am so absolutely close to crying. So... work... y'all know that has gone less than well lately. So, one of my coworkers, a wonderful woman who is solid. Is she the best? No. Is she a solid worker who always puts herself out there and "takes one for the team"? Yes. Is she a hell of a lot better than the "teacher's pets" that the boss adores? FUCK YES. Well, she's now gone. Gone. No job. Questionable letter of recommendation. The boss said things so bad and did things with paperwork that made it clear to her she didn't have a choice.

I want to scream, but I've found out after the fact. And I wonder how far this new power is going to affect the rest of us, because I'm permanently on that shit list at the main office.

I hate work.
