Flights of Fancy

Short of a Spin off rarely do actors who played leading characters on a show quickly get another long gig where they are the lead. They are two associated with the previous character and producers are afraid to take the chance. The average seems to be 10 years by my rough estimate - probably would be even longer if we count the actors and actresses just faded into obscurity. Sentinal had 3 seasons if I remember correctly? It may take Garrett another year or two before he gets more than a bit tv parts. I always sorry that Poltergeist the Legacy got canceled when it did because Garrett was supposed to be in the next season
