I really don't see Faith as being as sexual when she gets older... she certainly wasn't jumping on people in the last season, but she still had that fuck-me swagger and attitude. And you're right that Severus is not as cold as he pretends to be. They live in their masks. And it takes one to know one. And yeah, Faith has the logic here, but it's harder for Severus to let go of his mask maybe because of Faith's time in prison getting herself together.
