Poor Riley - the fabric over the cage was the final ominous touch - now he's helpless AND blind. Loved his encounter w/ Dumbledore. Man, you've totally got me sucked in.
Couple of typos: "I do understand the prophesy" s/b prophecy "Carved stone arches rose above the, " either a word is missing, or s/b them "bookcases line every available bit of wall" s/b lined
