Let's Celebrate (a lack of WIPs) PROMPT CALL

Hey, I just finished Moon Magic! I need to sit on the last chapter and think about the ending a bit, but it's done, which means that I don't have ANY WIPs going right now (Toys is a series of freestanding stories, not really a WIP). So, I've seen this meme around, and I want to play.

So, my flist, if you had me under your command, what would you command me to write?

BTW, I want to write some short stories, something to just play with the muse without the work of an epic, so if your comment doesn't tickle the muse or if it tickles the muse into an epic-length bunny, please don't take offense if I don't write you anything. I've read everything you've ever written and pretty much loved all of it. While I'm usually a die-hard slash fan, to my surprise I *really* enjoyed your recent Firefly-verse stories, particularly 'Thoughts Colored Ugly'. I've love to see more of that verse with Jayne/River and loads of kink. Pretty please? :)

Got a particular itch you'd like scratching kinkwise or storywise?

Well, I'm a big fan of the D/s kink (hence the LJ handle :) and I think what really got me where it counts with your Jayne/River pairing was River as the super-strong dominant with the genuine caring for Jayne, doing what she did to give him what he needed. And Jayne (big, rough, strong Jayne) as a sub was, um, kind of the hottest thing I've read in a while.

So, how about a slice of life (PWP so not a problem *grin*) post the end of Thoughts Colored Ugly? Even better if River picks up on Mal wondering about what she and Jayne get up to together...maybe River even feels the need to prove to Mal that Jayne is hers?

*sheepish smile* Did I mention that story was really, really hot?

Mmmmm proving a point to Mal. I can do that. I'm really glad you enjoyed that since it was my first piece of het.

Oh no WAY. That was your first? *blinks* Damn, woman.
Of course, I'm of the opinion that good writers (of which you are, undoubtedly, one) can work any pairing as long as it interests/intrigues them. And there are so many cool points of conflict with Jayne/River - Jayne's stubbornness, River's mental state, what he tried to do to them and Simon's disapproval...with material like that, how could you go wrong?
BTW, do you have any original works out there, published or otherwise? Your fanfiction is superb, I'd love to see what else you've done.

A few short stories that aren't available on-line, that's it. I just sent a longer short story off, but we'll see in a few months if it goes anywhere.

The end result of 'Once Moe With Feeling' wherein Xander was the one who summoned Sweet never sat well with me. I'd love to see an alternate version of this, where he's covering for someone else perhaps or where Sweet decides he'd make a good queen. bonus points if it becomes Spander.

Also desperately wanting some Spander/Torchwood action but Torchwood doesn't appear to be on your list just yet. Either way thanks for the great stories.

Anyway, I think bunnies I would throw your way from your already established 'verses would be things from Mangled Spells, Magical Cage, or something snippetlike from the Control Issues 'verse.

If I were to try and feed bunnies to you that are totally original... I would ask a few things like:

Have you ever heard the song 'Brand New Beau' by Amanda Marshall? If you listen to it and read the lyrics you have such opportunities for both Sentinel and Stargate and BtVS. ;)

or

Another genderbending lark - but in the Sentinel fandom this time using the idea of the Shaman having to be both male and female, just in this case it ends up being literal (say after the way of the shaman is passed on by Incacha *g*)

Hmmm. You do so many things well. Dom/sub. Self-talk. Creative yet consistent use of magic/special powers.

How about adding chocolate? Really good chocolate.

And a stark contrast between public relationship and private relationship.

And maybe raspberries.

I really played with that idea of a contrast between publick and private. I put it into the Thoughts Colored Ugly epilogue I just posted, so I hope you enjoy it.

Gah! I need to get you hooked on Dexter! If anyone could write my Spike/Dexter story, it would be you. ::sigh::

However, I would LOVELOVELOVE Spike/Xander. I'd love to see a fic with the boys living away from the rest of the gang and talking about each other to the others in emails. Esp if there was a secret involved, a surprise, or something that one or both of them are hiding from the other.

OR: any new piece of the Trickster verse, anything, really. I haven't the nerve to suggest any ideas for it, it's too good.

I always wondered about the backstory behind how Giles helped the shadowy Shaman figure find his wife. The one who was supposed to remove Angel's soul in "Enemies" and then turned out to be on the side of the Scoobies in repayment of his debt to Giles.

Hmmm well if I had you under my spell :) I would have you write a Chuck/Sentinel Crossover where Jim and Cassey were former lovers and their current lovers Blair and Chuck find out about it.

Now if we are going with your old stuff. From Buffy, I would love to read a continuation of "Your Bloody, Fault" I would like to know what happens after they left Angels office. From the Sentinel, I would like to see more from "Duty Deferred. *HUGS* and Congrats on having no more WIP's Lady Q

Since you just finished a Firefly het story lets make this interesting. Xander has somehow been put into a deep sleep and the Serenity has found the capsule that he is in. On awakening Xander realizes everything and everyone he knows is gone. Can't remember his name but the captain of the Serenity helps him adjust. I want some slash in here. I hope this is what you are looking for.

Oh, just to add... I'd especially love it if it involved Cordelia, since she's my favourite and no-one seems to use her in those types of fics. I wouldn't actually mind if you chose other characters instead, though.

If I had a magic LitGal-commanding-wand, I'd wave it toward your short fic Street Rat (Fast and the Furious) - where do the boys go from there? Or a slice of life, once they reach wherever Dom is leading 'em. Oooooh, or even better - a Spangel crossover - the FatF boys stop over in Sunnydale or run into supernatural events right there in LA, and thus run into Angel and/or Xander... :)

I would definitely make you write an offshoot from Thoughts Colored Ugly where Mal does get Jayne...even just for a little bit. 'Cause I feel so bad for that poor guy (Um, Mal, I mean). Like, maybe Jayne does something wrong against the captain, so it's only fair he metes out the punishment.

Well... Once I saw this entry I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to deshying myself and saying that I really enjoy everything you've written so far. You were also the one who introduced me to The Sentinel fandom and well,... I can't get enough of Jim and Blair these days.

As such, here's a possble prompt for you:

I'm thinking Sentinel/Firefly crossover with Jim as a possible Mal kinda character (captain that was abandoned by his nation/army?) It's just an idea and I hope it tickles your muse.

Or what I'd really really like at the moment would be something I can add to the new Category Secret Lovers.

I need the boys just starting out maybe, at that delicate stage where the relationship needs to develop a bit without being under a spotlight. A little comedy perhaps as they almost get discovered in compromising situations

Or major angst because one wants to let the others know they've been together for ages, and the other doesn't.

Any of that interest your muse?

I went angst... you have to play to your strengths.

What ever you write is so wonderful. I love it all. You have wonderful plots, great romance and some of the hottest and most innovative D/S scenes I have ever read. It is so difficult to chose.

I guess my first choice would be to see a Trickster Xander facing off with Dracula - or maybe a dream sequence where he remembers a moment from his past - or a tidbit that might tell us if Xander ever did have a past life as a Vamp - or maybe Buffy's Xander was the soul of the Xander that became Nusa's child and the Halloween spell allowed him to tap his alter ego - what would happen if they ever came face to face

Next I guess would be anything RiverxJayne. I am a slash fan but this pairing really works and is too Hot! And though I can't really see Mal as a sub having him take a walk on the wild sub side once and awhile with River topping both him and Jayne for a night of stress relief could be interesting.

I also love your Severus in Moon Magic and wouldn't mind seeing more of him in anything you put him in

Hmmm . . . I've always kinda wondered what would have happened if the Stargate people had somehow ended up in control of the Initiative . . . would it have still self imploded or would Daniel have managed to set up cultural exchanges between the various demon tribes? ;) Or, to go another direction, I've always thought that if Stargate and BtVS were in the same universe, Senator Kinsey would have probably been on the oversight committee . . .

And while we're on Stargate, I feel like we very rarely see enough of mini!Jack.

Some sort of Sentinel/HP crossover? I have no idea how that would work though. :)
But pretty much anything you write I will very happily read!
