I kinda like him too. He's trying to be kind and reasonable by his own set of beliefs. Those beliefs are completely screwy and wrong but he genuinely doesn't mean to abuse Xander. The very fact that Sky enjoys the position she does even though she's "infertile" says something not evil about him.
