They're not strong in the physical/mystical forcing others to do what they want way that Buffy and Willow are (and even Giles). Moral and emotional strength weren't given much respect on the show. Even Joyce was more respected than she would have been because she hit Spike with an axe-just being a good, supportive mother wasn't enough. D:
