Bonnie is watching another vitally important person disappear from her life. Her solemn resignation is simply heartbreaking, no wonder Xander can't withstand it.

It's very interesting that you and I have both explored the conflict the lack of a moral compass causes but from totally different approaches, even though we're at the same place in canon. I love that there's so much room for different interpretations in this fandom.

Buffy being put on the spot for the whole demon bad thing worked very well. Dawn dating a good demon could be the best thing for her and Buffy will have to accept that possibility. I adored Bonnie's quoting her grandmother and then tempering the statement. She's learned to judge for herself. I really love this series.
