Wow. How awful for Xander that he was faced with killing Warren as the only solution to keeping the people he cares about safe. After all that Warren's done, he had to believe that the threats he made were very real and holy shit who else would stop Warren before he followed through on them? Then, too, I've got an awful feeling the people he just saved are going to give him grief when they find out what he did. Urg.
