Oh poor Xander - I know he went over there to kill Warren but then he couldn't do it until Warren kept on going in his megalomaniacal way and pushed him to do it though in the end I think it was pure instinct that made him pull the trigger. Also this whole thing about having or not having a soul. Hitler and Mengele supposedly had souls and they were worse than vampires. For Xander he's now hopelessly twisted in what is black and what is white and with Spike in his life I fear he may remain entangled.
