I'm only reading the transcripts at this point, but Buffy is not coming off very good. She certainly has a right to be in a lot of pain, but some of her actions just make me wonder who was writing the plot

I do think Spike might act on vampire instincts if he thinks Buffy is being illogical... I think that's true in canon and this AU.
