All kind of stuff with this chapter. Self-centered Buffy seems to be the norm at this point, sadly enough. Now, Willow being so almost angrily insistent the rest fall in line with her version of things and then that sudden burst of lust in the middle of all that trouble? Kinda creepy.
Interesting that Spike can feel the unsure loyalties as Buffy's 'court' is falling apart around her. A thought wondering if Spike would try and take over if he sees her as too weak?
Poor Spike not feeling able to accept Xander's shift from true hostility to being allies. But with the bit of his past you put in, it makes sense. As for Xander, it feels about right that something like the whole 'suffering innocent alternate Buffy' would be what finally tipped him to decide that Warren's got to be stopped for good.
