A second chapter so quickly! I hope your muse continues to be inspired. I love this idea with Jim and Blair in the Firefly universe. And Jim's take on hearing Mal talk to his pilot was just too funny.

One minor nitpick:

the salt and must of his body. I think you meant the salt and musk of his body.
