I am so glad you think so. They really are bumbling around a bit, but they love each other and even the bumbling is good. And I think you're right about Xander and Spike. Spike would put Xander up there with the best because Xander loves him, and I think Spike's demon has always been driven by a need for love. That makes Xander special to him.
