-continued- * Angel's conversation with Faith, letting us know how things were going with her and Blair ... is Blair back in school or are they both on the road truck-driving now? (Does Faith have a license and -- OMG!!! No! No Slayers driving big rigs! Nonononono! ... Well, unless she's a better driver than Buffy. Though, the average chimpanzee is a better driver than Buffy.)
* The description of the battle. Simple and yet visual enough for me (Ms Bad-at-Visualizing-Things-Who-Skips-Long-Descriptions) to follow. Very nice. And particularly nice to see Xander in his glory, only doing *small* goofy things (like forgetting to turn the mic on at first) rather than huge butt-monkey goof-ups. ::Yes, I am *very* scarred by later seasons of Buffy, when TPTB excessively abused Our Xander for comic relief.::
* The nice parallel to the original end of battle, this time with Angel, including a quick role-call of the dead. I wonder if anyone (as tired and punch-drunk as they all are) will remember to keep an eye out for any wounded who die later from vampire bites. Poor Harmony - I guess she won't make it to vampire status in this 'verse. I can't help it, I always enjoyed vampire!Harmony; she never tried to be a better person until after she got vamped which has to make her a bigger black sheep amongst the blood-suckers than even Angel (who needed a soul for it) or Spike (who needed love of the right person). I won't, however, miss Forrest - even with that little homoerotic edge he brought to his dislike/jealousy of Buffy's relationship with Riley, he was just too obnoxious. Hey, shouldn't the Army include some female soldiers in the Hellmouth posting?
