I had a moment when I saw "CONCLUSION" in the header where I panicked; then I remembered that you tend to write series(es). So the A/N#2 was most welcome. And I can say "Yay!" for a job well done and an enjoyable conclusion - instead of whining about wanting more. Of course, I do (always, right?) want more, it's just the whining about it can be skipped.
Poor Wesley...
I liked everything, well, maybe except for Cordelia being all estranged from the group. If Angel doesn't go to LA but she does, then who will save her from predacious movie moguls and vampires?! ::frets:: Ah well, back to the story "here and now" - some particular highlights included:
* Angel's overview of the crowd - and the story-to-now, with ponderings and how Xander (and he himself) has changed.
* Angel's assessment (and scattered annecdotes) of how Riley and his team had become a little more Hellmouth-savy. They were traumatized by a visit to Willy's? Wow, what happened there? And Spike (along with his wanting to KEEL THEM for letting Xander endanger himself) helping them get Hellmouth-acclimatized. *giggles* I have this weird Pink Panther vision of them wandering around with Spike in the role of Kato, jumping out at them at odd intervals to engage in "training exercises". (Though of course, unlike the hapless Kato caught in that chaos field of Clouseau's, I'm sure Spike beat the snot out of 'em repeatedly.)
